About Us

As owners and designers, Daniel Jay Park and Mark D. Smith are inspired by the energy created between beautiful jewelry and the exceptional women they adorn.  According to Daniel, “We hope that the love and artistry we channel into our jewelry collections will ultimately return to inspire you, our clients.” Mark adds, “A women’s jewelry collection is probably one of the most cherished and emotional possessions she will ever own.”

As a young adult artist, Daniel trusted his instincts and talent and moved from his hometown of Seattle to study at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Upon graduation, Daniel quickly achieved his life-long goal of performing on Broadway by the age of 23. After enjoying a successful 10-year career as a professional Broadway musical theater performer, Daniel re-channeled his gifts in a new creative direction upon being accepted into the prestigious New York School of Interior Design. Shortly before graduating with his BFA in Interior Design, Daniel was announced the winner of the top annual collegiate design competition in the country. He then channeled this winning momentum into several senior positions within Manhattan’s top hospitality and furniture design firms. These positions gave Daniel an extraordinary breadth of artistic and design experience; from designing heirloom luxury furniture for Fifth Avenue residences, to monumental 5-star hospitality projects in Singapore and Dubai. After branching out and establishing his own design company, Daniel is now excited to introduce the beauty of the DanielMark Jewelry collection.

In 2016, Daniel joined with Mark D. Smith, a corporate executive in the financial services industry. By combining their backgrounds of design and business, the two partners unite to bring the highest levels of imagination, inventiveness, and ingenuity to the DanielMark brand. Today, this successful partnership continues to advance their passion for creating “Alluring Jewelry for Exceptional Women™.”
